EASF was established by Eddie Busque to build and maintain athletic fields based on his experience managing professional baseball fields. With over 25 years of professional grounds keeping experience, Eddie Busque has been awarded Groundskeeper of the Year in both the Carolina League (1998) and International League (2004 and 2005), with new stadiums and new fields with much larger budgets taking the International League awards since 2006. In both of the league awards, Eddie took old fields with very limited budgets and transformed them into award winning surfaces. Eddie has worked on construction or maintenance of athletic fields for professional baseball teams including the Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, St. Louis Cardinals, Charlotte Knights, Greenville Drive, Winston-Salem Warthogs, Hickory Crawdads, Durham Bulls, Tennessee Smokies to name a few. Local Charlotte area schools and recreational clients include York Comprehensive High School, York Middle School, Covenant Day School, Weddington High School, Charlotte Christian School, Charlotte Latin, Charlotte Prep, Marvin Ridge High School, South Charlotte Recreation Association, Matthews Athletic Recreation Association, Charlotte Soccer Academy and many others.
